Arbaeene Husseini

Bismillahi rahmani rahim,

Today is arbaeen. Condolences to all on this occasion, especially Hazrate Zainab…

Does anyone know whats going on in Karbala right now? TV was showing it live. alhamdulilah during New Years break I had the great fortune of vising Karbala. When I went, it wasn’t very crowded. Unlike Imam Reza (as)’s shrine, which is crammed with pilgrims year round, Imam Hussein (as) doesn’t get as many. But now, now on this day, Arbaeen, over two million people are in karbala to pay their respect to their Imam. right now, its so crowded there, millions are in beyn ul haramyn, crying, screaming, mourning. Ya Allah. Allahum arzogna ziyarat alHussein, hussein, hussein… Ya Allah, grant us the honor of visiting Hussein (as).

O People

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

 Salam Aleikom,

This very sad maddahi was recited by haj abdolreza helaali. At the beginning, it starts with Hazrate Zainab (as) telling the people of her father’s sorrow and grief, telling them how they have wronger her dear father. Then, it moves on with Imam Ali (as) himself telling the people what hardships he has been through, and that they have done nothing but make his job harder. You can find the nowha in the “Box” section under the name of “O People”

Again, sorry for the translation, forgive me if i’ve made any mistakes, and pray that Allah (swt) may accept this for His (swt) ahlulbayt (as)

Princess of the best

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

Salam Aleikom,

This is a maddahi by seyed javad zaker, may his soul rest in peace. It is about Hazrate Roqayye bentul hussein (as). Forgive me for the terrible translation, the whole maddahi was adjectives and they’re pretty hard to translate. I can’t think of anything else to say now, except that i might be updating this later to fix some problems. Oh, and you can find the nowha in the “videos”which is to the left, you can use the little arrows to move left and right. under the title “seyed zaker – roqayeh bentul”

Please pray for me :)

Wassalam

Agham Agham

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

This very touching maddahi(nowha) has been recited by haj abdolreza Helali (his picture can be seen below or in the “Pictures” section which can be found at the top of the page). It is for Imam Hussein (as) and Imam Zaman, may Allah (swt) hasten his return. It first tells Imam Hussein of our love for him (as), then turns to our master, Imam Mahdi (aj), questioning him of his whereabouts. I do apologize greatly for doing such a wrong to this beautiful nowha, and also to our Imams (as & aj). May they be pleased.

You can find this nowha in the “Box” section, under the name of “Agham Agham”. It’s mp3 so if you click on it, it should play it right there for you. :) If you cannot find it, or it won’t play, or if you have any other difficulties, you can either leave a message on this post, in the “Guest Book” (located at the top of the page).

May your prayers be accepted, and please do pray for me.

In the Tent with Tearful Eyes

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
This latmiya is recited by seyyed majeed bani fateme.
It is said on account of Hazrate Zainab (as), when she asked her children to go fight and help their uncle.
Inshallah you may like it, and the translation will have gotten the meaning across, at least.
Inshallah it will be accepted by Allah (swt) and the ahlulbayt (as)
You can find it to the right side (or at the bottom) of the page, under the name of “in the tent with tearful eyes”

Don’t blink; your tearful eyes hurt

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
This is a latmiyya from Seyyed Mahdi Mirdamad.
I thought it to be very touching when I heard it and instantly thought
to share it here on this site. Inshallah you can feel the depth and
meaning behind the words of this poem, and the love for the Ahlulbayt (as).
I think this poem might be intended to be the words of Hazrate Zainab (as)
but I’m not sure. The part at the end where the reciter says
“Who has made me an orphan” is usually said from Hazrate Roqayyeh (as).
Again, i’m not sure. Please do forgive me, for the rough translation and
worse explanation (I have explained it a bit at the end).
Inshallah Imam Hussein (as) may help me improve with my translation.
You can find it in the “BOX” which is located at the right side of the screen.
If you don’t see it there it might have “fallen” to the bottom of the screen.
Thats what happens if the connection isn’t fast enough,
or if the computer screen isn’t large enough.
Inshallah if I find any better themes for the site I will change it so
this won’t be a problem, and people won’t get confused.
Do pray for us

ديوونه

بسم اللّه الرحمن الرحيم

This latmiya is called “Divoone” (insane) by Seyed Zaker, may he rest in peace inshallah. He passed away recently from cancer in his throat. He had it for a while, and continued reciting nontheless. Allah bless him Inshallah. This latmiya has touched the hearts of many of us, and i’m sure anyone who hears it can understand the depth beneath the words, and again do forgive the injustice of my translation. You can find it in the video box titled “Divoone”
