Agham Agham

This very touching maddahi(nowha) has been recited by haj abdolreza Helali (his picture can be seen below or in the “Pictures” section which can be found at the top of the page). It is for Imam Hussein (as) and Imam Zaman, may Allah (swt) hasten his return. It first tells Imam Hussein of our love for him (as), then turns to our master, Imam Mahdi (aj), questioning him of his whereabouts. I do apologize greatly for doing such a wrong to this beautiful nowha, and also to our Imams (as & aj). May they be pleased.

You can find this nowha in the “Box” section, under the name of “Agham Agham”. It’s mp3 so if you click on it, it should play it right there for you. :) If you cannot find it, or it won’t play, or if you have any other difficulties, you can either leave a message on this post, in the “Guest Book” (located at the top of the page).

May your prayers be accepted, and please do pray for me.

Ma Salama

Oh my master, my master

I face your karbala

I’m calling you from the bottom of my heart

And praying behind your golden dome, and shrine

And your headless body

Oh my master, my master

Are you in madina, visiting your mother Zahra…

Or are you a pilgrim at the river of alqame…

Have you gone to the city of Damascus tonight?

To call on Zainab, the Lady of Love

Or have you gone to the haram tonight?

To pay a visit to my Roqaye

Tell me, where have you gone tonight?

Is it to baqi or Samarra that you have gone tonight?

Or have you gone to a sorrowful mourning session,

With the voice of Umm Banin

Oh my master, my master

I have no one but you my master,

I bring myself to the foot of your shrine

And put my head on a spear for you

Planting it in your beautiful temple

Oh my master, my master
